Started With One
Product.
Mr. Rajesh Mehta, the founder of R R Hygiene India, is a self-made entrepreneur known for his never-give-up attitude and forward-thinking vision. Before establishing the company, he worked as a distributor for TATA Salt in the Mazgaon region — building his understanding of India's retail ecosystem from the ground up.
His entrepreneurial hunger led him to start his own manufacturing journey — beginning humbly by repacking boric powder. His relentless drive soon gave birth to his first innovation: DRAINIT — a powerful drain-cleaning product that laid the foundation for R R Hygiene's brand identity.
Armed with just this one product, Mr. Mehta personally pitched it to general trade stores and D-Mart — working tirelessly for years. His persistence paid off, and by 2006, he launched CHAMAK DHAMAK, marking R R Hygiene's official entry into the mainstream FMCG sector.

First Steps in Manufacturing
Initial operations in repacking and local distribution. Launch of DRAINIT — R R Hygiene's first proprietary product, personally pitched to D-Mart and general trade stores across Mumbai.
Launch of Chamak Dhamak
The launch of Chamak Dhamak marks R R Hygiene's official entry into the mainstream FMCG sector, establishing the company as a recognisable household name across India.
Home Cleaning & Personal Care
Expanded into home cleaning and personal care categories, developing the Plants & Petals herbal range and broadening the Chamak Dhamak product line.
Partnered with D-Mart & Reliance
Secured long-term partnerships with D-Mart and Reliance Smart Bazaar — two of India's largest retail chains — cementing R R Hygiene's position as a trusted national FMCG supplier.
Food Division & Pet Accessories
Introduced Heem Rock Salt and Raju Khari Sing under the food division, and launched the pet accessories line for DIY retail — expanding into two entirely new consumer categories.
